BioI'm Justin Finch-Fletchley, a Hufflepuff at Hogwarts. What with all the death and dying and war and stuff, I'm learning defensive magic instead of business this year. Hopefully I can have a fun summer despite the war - there's no Kootenfaggen to spy on me here!
Justin is an only child, raised by his loving Muggle parents with a large family fortune. Nobody can quite remember where the Finch-Fletchleys first earned their wealth, but these days most of their stock is in the carbonated beverage industry - 80% of Fanta is Finch-Fletchley owned. Though Justin wasn't precisely spoiled, but he never quite learned that not everyone is as rich as he is, as all his friends growing up were associates of his parents on about the same economical level as them. One exception is his close friend Ricardo, his mother's very Latin and very gay hairdresser. His name was down for Eton until his Hogwarts letter appeared, and though his parents were proud of his magical abilities they still insisted that he attend (extremely exclusive) summer courses at Eton in business, to better manage the family fortune once he inherited it. Justin is happy at Hogwarts and has made some good friends in his house. Despite joining Dumbledore's Army in his fifth year he's a bit wary of Harry Potter. He seems nice enough and is certainly brave, but considering all the articles in the Daily Prophet and the Incident with the Snake in second year, Justin tends to keep his distance. The summer courses at Eton are more of an educational camp, but a friend of his parents, Mr. Kootenfaggen, teaches there and reports back to his parents, which prevents any exciting adventures for him and his muggle best friend, Franklin Harrington XII. Most Saturday nights they end up watching James Bond or playing poker with the other boys at the camp/summer school. He thinks he's a master poker player, as his hairdresser Ricardo taught him all the secrets of the game he knew - unfortunately, Ricardo doesn't know much about poker, and Justin tends to lose much more than he wins. This year, however, Justin and his parents have agreed that with the approaching wizarding war it would be more practical for him to train at Liggeri Telt Magi.
